Twins battle back to force Game 7 with a 11-5 win over the Cardinals.

Minnesota digs out of a 5-2 hole with a 4-run 5th, and Kent Hrbek's Grand Slam in the 6th. The Twins tie it on a 2-run HR by Don Baylor, and then go-ahead on an RBI single by Steve Lombardozzi after chasing starter John Tudor.

Minnesota breaks the game open in the 6th when Greg Gagne leads off with a single against Ricky Horton before Bob Forsch loads the bases with a pair of walks. St. Louis brings in Ken Dayley to face Hrbek, but the move backfires when he crushes one deep over the centerfield fence for a 10-5 lead. Kirby Puckett goes 4-of-4 with 4 runs.
