San Francisco answers with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning against Dave Stewart, but a big defensive play by Mark McGwire ends the rally, and then the A's put up the next 9 runs for a 13-3 lead. Henderson, Carney Lansford and Jose Canseco each collect 3 hits, leading Oakland's 14-hit attack.
