Reds break out late to win 2-1 and sweep the A's.

After Oakland's Dave Stewart pitched into and out of trouble for much of the game, Cincinnati finally gets to him with small ball in the 8th. After Barry Larkin leads off with a single, the A's play 2 bunts into a single and an error loading the bases. Larkin then scores the tying run on a fielder's choice before Hal Morris' Sac Fly scores Herm Winningham for the winning run.

Meanwhile, Jose Rijo smothers the Oakland bats. The A's strike with 2 hits for a run in the 1st, but then Rijo doesn't allow a hit before turning it over to Randy Myers with 1 out in the 9th. Myers retires both batters he faces.
