White Sox draw even with a 7-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Chicago gets power from a predictable source and an unexpected one. Frank Thomas ties the game 3-3 with a solo HR off Todd Stottlemyre in the 6th.

However, its Lance Johnson, who shows rare power for the White Sox. Homer-less for the season, Johnson gives Chicago a 2-0 lead early with a HR to right. Toronto had rallied for a 3-2 lead against Jason Bere. But following Thomas' tying blast, Ellis Burks and Bo Jackson walk before Johnson triples off the wall in right-center.

After Bere's early struggles, the White Sox get 6 2/3 inning of 1-run relief by a quartet of relievers headed by Tim Belcher who goes 3 2/3 innings.
