Braves respond with a 5-2 win over the Indians.

Atlanta answers a win by Cleveland in game 3, to take a 3-1 series lead as Steve Avery, Greg McMichael and Pedro Borbon, Jr. deliver a stellar performance. Avery goes 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run.

Cleveland gets its lone run off Avery when Albert Belle homers in the 6th. Mark Wohlers struggles out of the bullpen giving up a solo HR to Manny Ramirez in the bottom of the 9th before Borbon closes the door.

Ken Hill matches Avery through 6, allowing a solo HR to Ryan Klesko in the 6th. But the Braves break out in the top of the 7th when Luis Polonia doubles in the go-ahead run and scores on a 2-run double by David Justice.
