Cleveland breaks through against Greg Maddux to send the series back to Atlanta. Albert Belle delivers a 2-run HR to right in the 1st inning to put the Indians up early.

The Braves battle back, tying the game on Marquis Grissom's infield single in the 6th after an error by Orel Hershiser opens the door to a rally. Hershiser goes 8 innings, scattering 5 hits.

Cleveland retakes the lead in the bottom of the 6th on a pair of back-to-back RBI singles. Jim Thome, in the days before he became a PC wussy offended by the Chief Wahoo logo, adds a solo HR for a 5-2 lead in the 8th. The insurance pays off when Ryan Klesko has a 2-run HR in the 9th.
