Mets stay alive with late-inning heroics, 3-2 win over the Braves.

New York rallies after letting a 1-0 lead slip away in the top of the 8th. Brian Jordan and Ryan Klesko started the 8th with solo HRs off Rick Reed to give Atlanta a 2-1 lead.

However, the Mets start the bottom of the 8th with a single by Roger Cedeno. Mike Remlinger relieves John Smoltz, recording the 2nd out. But then walks Melvin Mora. John Rocker enters to face John Olerud, who was hitless against the Atlanta closer. However, after Cedeno and Mora steal a base, Olerud lofts a soft single into center scoring both runs.
