Braves walk off with a 10-9 win over the Mets in 11 innings.

The highest-scoring contest in the series ends with a whimper when Andrew Jones draws a bases loaded walk off Kenny Rogers after Atlanta rallied to tie in the bottom of the 8th and bottom of the 10th. Gerald Williams led off the 10th with a double. He had sparked a 5-run 1st when he is hit by an Al Leiter pitch, and the Braves strike for the 5 runs on only 2 hits.

Atlanta cruises behind Kevin Millwood, who blanks New York until the Mets strike for 3 runs in the 6th. The Braves counter with 2 in the bottom of the inning for a 7-3 lead, but then New York rallies to tie it in the 7th highlighted by Mike Piazza's 2-run HR. The Mets then take the lead in the 8th only to have Atlanta answer in the bottom of the inning, a pattern repeated in the 10th.
