Marcus Giles sends the 1st pitch into the leftfield stands, before pitching takes over with Miguel Batista and Tom Glavine locking up in a pitchers' duel. But Atlanta breaks it up when Javy Lopez provides a 2-out rally in the 7th with a 2-run HR.

The Braves then beat up on the Arizona bullpen for 5 runs in the 8th to break the game open. Glavine goes 7 innings, allowing 5 hits and 1 run. Batista allows just 2 hits in 7 innings, but both are HRs.
