Doug Fister does his best to match Bumgarner for Detroit, but Hunter Pence leads off the 7th with a single, and then scores on a double play groundout. The Giants add another run in the 8th without the benefit of a base hit as 3 walks and a Sac Fly by Pence produce another run.
