The Royals give Ventura a comfortable cushion by battering Jake Peavy early chasing him after just 4 outs. Mike Moustaskas starts the onslaught with an RBI double, and then scores on Lorenzo Cain's 2-run single that makes it 4-0. Eric Homser follows with a 2-run double, and Billy Butler finishes the outburst with an RBI single.
