Games Notes

Rangers spoil Blue Jays' post-season return with a 5-3 win.

Toronto's 1st post-season game in 22 years brings unhappy memories for David Price. Texas hands Price his 6th loss against no wins in playoff starts, including prior meetings with the Rangers in 2010 and 2011. Price goes 7 innings allowing 5 runs.

The bottom of the Rangers' lineup does the damage with Rougned Odor and Robinson Chirinos, the bottom 2 hitters, combing for 4 runs and 3 RBIs. Leading 2-1, Chirinos homers with Odor on base in the 5th. After the Blue Jays chip away at Yovanni Gallardo to pull back within a run at 4-3, Odor homers off Price in the 7th.
