Giants streak on with an 8-4 win over the Astros.

San Francisco improves to 13-1, its best start since 1918, with the help from some shoddy Houston defense. The Giants break open a 1-1 game with 5 runs in the bottom of the 2nd as the wheels come off for the Astros.

Marquis Grissom and Rich Aurilia have RBI doubles before Aurilia scores when Orlando Merced drops a fly ball in right. Then Jeriome Robertson contributes to his own problems with a wild pitch allowing 2 more runs to score. San Francisco later adds another insurance run on an error by Merced's replacement, Richard Hidalgo.
