Los Angeles has the answers for Chicago after falling behind 4-0 and then again late. Steve Sax doubles home a pair of runs in the bottom of the 6th after the Cubs had regained a 6-5 lead.

Chicago scores twice in the 2nd and then goes up 4-0 on Andre Dawson's 2-run HR off Fernando Valenzuela in the 3rd. The Dodgers answer with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning, highlighted by Pedro Guerrero's 2-run HR off Jamie Moyer.

Los Angeles takes a lead on a wild pitch and groundout in the 5th.
