Los Angeles rides 3 homers as it rallies to beat Chicago. Trailing 3-1, the Dodgers strike for 4 runs in the 5th after an errant pickoff throw by Andrew Lorraine opens the door. Chan Ho Park can swing away rather than bunting after the error and doubles home Adrian Beltre. Following an RBI single by Mark Grudzielanek, Gary Sheffield caps the inning with a 2-run HR.

Chicago answers with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning, but Todd Hundley homers off Scott Sanders for a 6-5 lead. Eric Karros adds a 2-run single in the 7th.
