The Giants score 4 in the 7th with 2 runs coming on a HR by Brian Johnson off Joel Adamson and 2 more coming via small ball, with a couple walks, an infield single and a couple productive outs helping to push runs across.

Danny Darwin overcomes early aches and struggles to claim the win with 6 innings, scattering 5 hits and allowing 3 runs. Darwin gets struck by a line drive off the bat of Devon White on the 1st pitch of the game and then is later hit by a pitch to the knee. The Diamondbacks tag Darwin with 3 runs in the 3rd on Jay Bell's 3-run HR.
