Kevin Millwood, Phillies silence the Giants 1-0 with a no-hitter.

Millwood strikes out 10, allowing only 3 walks to record Philadelphia's 1st no-hitter since 1991, and just its second at Veterans Stadium. Ray Durham leads off the game with a walk, and then walks again with 2 outs in the 9th, but Millwood then retires Marquis Grissom with a fly ball to close out the no-hitter.

The Phillies offense manage just 4 hits, but they make one count when Ricky Ledee homers off Jesse Foppert in the bottom of the 1st.
