Yu Darvish starts poorly, but battles as the Rangers come back to beat the Mariners 11-5.

Darvish's heralded debut begins with a 4-run 1st by Seattle, but after falling behind 5-2 in the 2nd, the Japanese import shuts down the Mariners, lasting through 5 2/3 innings allowing 8 hits and 4 walks. But its good enough with Texas' bats.

Nelson Cruz ties it with a 3-run HR in the 3rd, and Mitch Moreland puts the Rangers in front with a 2-run HR in the 4th, with Josh Hamilton following shortly after with a solo HR. Cruz goes 3-of-4 with 4 RBIs, Ian Kinsler drives in 3 and Hamilton collects 3 hits.
