Marlins score an emotional 7-3 win over the Mets.

Dee Gordon leads off the game with a solo HR off Bartolo Colon as Miami plays its 1st game since the death of star pitcher Jose Fernandez. Wearing Fernandez' helmet, Gordon takes the 1st pitch right-handed in honor of his teammate before stepping to the left side of the plate. Gordon's homer sets off a chorus of cheers and sets tears in motion, including Gordon as he runs the bases.

The Marlins break the game open with 4 runs in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd.
