Dempster turns in his best outing since his trade to Texas, going 8 innings, allowing 4 hits and blanking Baltimore after a 1st inning run. Joe Nathan strikes out the side to seal the win.

The Rangers take the lead with a 3-run 4th as David Murphy drives in a run and later scores. Murphy singles in an insurance run in the 8th.
