Jay Bruce blasts a pair of homers lifting Cincinnati and his trade value. Bruce, a top target on the trade market, goes deep for a 2-run HR off Jake Peavy in the 4th, with Eugenio Suarez adding another 2-run shot in the inning for a 4-1 lead.

San Francisco battles back with a 2-run HR by Brandon Belt in the 4th and Angel Pagan adds another off Anthony DeSclafani in the 5th for a 5-4 lead. But Bruce answers with a 440-foot 2-run shot to center in the 6th to regain the lead for the Reds.
