Kansas City bats are too much, overcome huge day by Brian Dozier. Dozier becomes the 6th Minnesota player to hit 3 HRs in a game, and the 1st to do so at home. Dozier's blasts give him 38 for the season.

However, Dozier's performance is not enough as the Royals hammer the Twins for 16 hits. Eric Hosmer has 3 hits and 4 RBIs, while Kendry Morales adds a 3-run HR.
