Jonathan Lucroy homers twice and drives in 5 runs to power Texas' attack. Lucroy's 3-run blast off Anibel Sanchez gives the Rangers a 4-0 lead in the 1st.

Lucroy adds a 2-run shot in the 3rd ahead of a solo HR by Mitch Moreland that gives Yu Darvish a 7-1 cushion against Detroit. Darvish pitches into the 7th before running out of gave after giving up 4 runs, 2 earned, in 6 2/3 innings.
