Minnesota has its biggest offensive night of the season for a rare win. Trevor Plouffe leads with a 3-run HR with Byron Buxton and Robbie Grossman adding solo HRs.

Plouffe's 3-run HR off Jered Weaver in the 3rd breaks up a 1-1 tie and puts the Twins ahead for good. The Angels draw within 4-3 before Minnesota tacks on a run on a double play in the 5th. Buxton extends the lead with a solo HR in the 6th before Grossman's HR in the 7th starts a 3-run frame.
