Todd Frazier's 3-run HR off Kelvin Herrera boosts Chicago to a 7-4 lead after its bullpen gave up the lead in the bottom of the 9th. Kansas City tied it on Alcides Escobar's RBI single in the 9th but was unable to bring across the winning run.

The White Sox took a 4-3 lead with 3 RBI singles off Edison Volquez in the 5th. Chris Sale was in position for the win, departing after 7, allowing 7 hits and 3 runs.
