However, the big hits come late as Mark Teixeira hits a solo HR off Jason Grilli to tie it, and then Aaron Hicks tags Grilli for a 2-run HR for the lead. The Yankees add a pair of insurance runs that prove necessary. New York gets 8 innings from its bullpen after Luis Severino departs without recording an out in the 2nd.
