Michigan gains a trip to the Final Four with a dominant win, pulling away from the very start as Glenn Rice starts on fire while Virginia is cold as ice. Rice hits 9 of his 1st 10 shots for 21 points as the Wolverines are able to open a 20-point lead in the 1st half, before going to the break up 44-25.

Rice finishes with 32 points while Sean Higgins comes off the bench for 31 points. Michigan hits 58.6% from the floor while Virginia connects on only 38.1%
