Alabama gets big 2nd half performances by Latrell Sprewell and Robert Horry to hold off Stanford. Sprewell scores 18 of his 23 points after halftime while Horry adds 19 points, including 14 in the 2nd half.

The Cardinal are hampered when Adam Keefe, who finishes with 23 points, is hampered by foul trouble much of the 2nd half. Sprewell provides the big lift for the Tide, hitting a field goal and a pair of 3-pointers in an 8-0 run that allows Alabama to take the lead for good 69-64.
