Oklahoma books its ticket for the Orange Bowl, winning its first Big XII Championship after answering Kansas State's challenge. Josh Heupel throws for 220 yards and 2 TDs, and runs for another to lead the unbeaten Sooners.

After the Wildcats take a 10-3 lead in the 1st half, Heupel hits Trent Smith for a 1-yard TD pass, and then puts Oklahoma ahead with a 7-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. Kansas State ties it again on Kevin Lockett's 58-yard punt return for a TD in the 3rd quarter. But Heupel puts the Sooners ahead for good with a 17-yard TD pass to Andre Woolfork in the 4th quarter.
