Fresno State turns back repeated threats by Cal in the 1st half, trailing just 3-0 before David Carr hits Rodney Wright with a 17-yard TD pass w/ 1:04 left in the 2nd quarter. The second half is all Bulldogs as they shut down the Bears' attack.

Carr and Wright combine on a 21-yard TD pass early in the 4th quarter for a 17-3 lead. Carr throws for 324 yards, while Wright has 174 yards receiving.
