Chris Weinke and Florida State dominate to state its case for a Orange Bowl berth. Weinke throws for 353 yards and 3 TDs, while Marvin Minnis catches 8 passes for 187 yards and 2 TDs.

After Florida answers the Noles' 1st TD, its all FSU. Weinke hits Minnis with a 34-yard TD pass for a 14-7 lead, and then William McCray adds a 1-yard TD in the 3rd quarter and Weinke and Minnis combine again on a 51-yard TD to take a 27-7 lead in the 3rd quarter.
