Trailing and out-played much of the game, Florida manages a 91-yard game-winning drive in the closing minutes. After one go-ahead TD pass is negated by a penalty, Jabar Gaffney hangs on to a Jesse Palmer pass just long enough to be ruled a 3-yard TD w/ :14 left in the game.

Tennessee controls much of the game, but the Vols settle for 5 FGs, leaving them vulnerable to a comeback. Palmer throws for 290 yards to lead the Gators' rally.
