Virginia Tech jumps on Clemson early and stays in control throughout. Lee Suggs rushes for 73 yards and 3 TDs to lead the Hokies.

A bad punt snap, allows Virginia Tech a short field and a kick 7-0 lead less than 2 minutes into the game. After the Tigers draw within 14-10 in the 2nd quarter, Suggs adds short TD runs in the 2nd quarter and early 3rd quarter to open a 27-10 lead.
