Backup Ryan Brewer steps in for a suspended starter, and rushes for 109 yards and 1 TD, and catches 3 passes for 92 yards and 2 TDs to lead South Carolina. Brewer, an Ohio native, relishes in the role of tormenting Ohio State.

The Buckeyes draw within 10-7 in the 3rd quarter, but the Gamecocks answer with a 28-yard TD pass from Phil Petty to Brewer. Brewer then adds a 2-yard TD run in the 4th quarter to seal the outcome.
