Texas gets 3 defensive return TDs and is never challenged by Houston. Dakari Pearson starts the rout with a 42-yard INT return for a score midway through the 1st quarter. Michael Ungar and O.J. McClintock also add defensive TDs.

Victor Ike finds the end zone for the offense with a 1-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter for a 17-0 lead. Ungar falls on a fumble in the end zone to stretch the lead to 27-0 in the 3rd quarter.
