#1 Cornhuskers pull away for a 42-13 win over the Hawkeyes.

Nebraska uses a couple late TDs, one in the 1st half and 2 in the second half, to finish off winless Iowa. Leading just 14-13, Eric Crouch hits Matt Davison with a 49-yard TD pass on the final play of the 1st half. Crouch tosses his 5th TD pass late in the 4th quarter and the Cornhuskers add a defensive TD in the final minute to make the final look much more comfortable.

Crouch sets a Nebraska with 5 TD passes, hitting Tracey Wistrom for a school-record 3 TD receptions and Davison for a pair. Crouch finishes 10-of-13 for 159 yards.
