Sage Rosenfels lead Iowa State to the win with a big game despite 19-degree temperatures and snow falling. Rosenfels throws for 173 yards, 1 TD, 1 2-point conversion while running for 140 yards and 2 TDs.

Colorado had jumped in front 20-9, but the Cyclones storm back in the 2nd half, scoring 20 points in the 3rd quarter. The Buffaloes are able to draw within 32-27 before Iowa State puts an end to their comeback.
