Cooper Rego and Avon Cobourne dominate the running battle with Maryland's Lamont Jordan as West Virginia tops its neighbor rival. Rego rushes for 114 yards and 2 TDs, and Cobourne adds 97 yards. Meanwhile, Jordan is held to just 38 yards rushing.

Brad Lewis runs for a 12-yard TD run, and then hits Khori Ivy with a 14-yard TD pass as the Mountaineers open a 20-3 lead in the first half following Rego's 1-yard TD run. Maryland draws within 20-17 in the 2nd half, but West Virginia controls the 4th quarter to clinch the win.
