Ennis Haywood rushes for 214 yards and 2 TDs as Iowa State cliches its 1st winning season since 1989 and becomes eligible for its first bowl game since 1978. The Cyclones answer an early TD by Missouri with 26 straight points to take control of the game.

Sage Rosenfels scores on a 2-yard TD run and J.J. Moses adds a 34-yard TD run to give Iowa State a 13-7 lead. Haywood follows TD runs of 14 and 4 yards. Marc Timmons returns an INT 78 yards for a TD and 33-14 lead in the 3rd quarter.
