Northwestern scores its 2nd straight upset as Damien Anderson runs for 217 yards and 2 TDs. The Wildcats convert a big turnover by Michigan State into a controlling lead.

After Tim Long's 23-yard FG gives Northwestern a 13-10 lead early in the 2nd quarter, the Spartans fumble the ensuing kickoff and 2 plays later Anderson scores on a 32-yard run. Anderson adds a 41-yarder in the 3rd quarter helping the Wildcats build a 30-10 lead.
