After Drew Brees makes a horrible decision, resulting in an INT and return to the 2-yard line, setting up the go-ahead TD for Ohio State w/ 2:16 left, Brees atones for it with a 64-yard TD pass to Seth Morales w/ 1:55 to play. Brees throws for 455 yards and 3 TDs, helping offset 4 INTs.

Ohio State leads 20-10 after Nate Clements' 84-yard punt return in the 3rd quarter while Purdue is set back by Brees' INTs. However, Brees puts Purdue back on track for the Rose Bowl, tossing a 5-yard TD pass to John Standeford and a 19-yarder to Vinny Sutherland.
