Game Notes

#1 Sooners rally past the #24 Aggies 35-31.

Oklahoma rises up in the 4th quarter after trailing much of the game. Torrance Marshall's 41-yard INT return for a TD w/ 7:18 left puts the Sooners ahead of Texas A&M for good. The return comes less than a minute after Quentin Griffin's 2-yard TD run shrinks the Aggies' lead to 31-28.

Texas A&M builds a 24-10 lead following a 4-yard TD pass from Mark Farris to Robert Ferguson in the 2nd quarter and a 1-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. Oklahoma draws within 24-21 but the Aggies extend the lead again when Jamar Toombs bulls through the Sooners for a 27-yard TD run on a 4th-and-inches play.
