San Diego State gets its first win of the season as Lon Sheriff throws for 317 yards and 2 TDs against Wyoming. The Aztecs shutdown the Cowboys' running game, holding it to 26 yards.

Larry Ned rushes for a pair of TDs in the 1st half, and Sheriff's 9-yard TD pass to Sean Pierce gives San Diego State a comfortable 24-0 halftime lead. Sheriff adds a 40-yard TD pass to Derrick Lewis in the 3rd quarter.
