Southern Cal needs a big 4th-quarter rally to avoid the upset in its Los Angeles Coliseum's 500th game. San Jose State leads 24-12 in the 4th quarter before the Trojans score 3 TDs, including 2 in the final 3 minutes to pull out the victory.

Carson Palmer throws for 338 yards and 2 TDs, including an 8-yarder to Antoine Harris that starts USC's rally w/ 8:07 left. After stopping the Spartans, the Trojans drive for Petros Papadakis' 5-yard TD run for the lead w/ 2:34 left. Papadakis adds his 3rd TD run after Chris Cash picks off a pass as San Jose State attempts its own late rally.
