Cardinal rallies to stun the #5 Longhorns 27-24.

Chris Lewis hooks up with DeRonnie Pitts for a 15-yard TD pass w/ 1:12 to play after Stanford sees Texas erase a 20-9 deficit to take the lead. Lewis completes just 12-of-33 passes after replacing injured Randy Fasani, but they go for 214 yards and 3 TDs.

The Cardinal hold a 20-9 lead to start the 4th quarter, but Major Applewhite hits B.J. Johnson with a 71-yard TD pass and then Victor Ike for a 38-yarder to give the Longhorns a 24-20 lead. Applewhite throws for 274 yards.
