Rams escape with a 20-19 win over the Rebels.

Colorado State hangs on for the victory when Rhett Nelson blocks a PAT w/ :34 left after backup QB Jason Vaughan hits Nate Turner with an 11-yard TD pass. Vaughan had taken over for an injured Jason Thomas and positioned UNLV for a win, but the Rebels are undone by their PATs, missing one, and then having their 4th block of the season.

Trailing 13-10, the Rams rally in the 4th quarter, tying it on a FG, and then going ahead on Cecil Sapp's 1-yard TD run, his 2nd of the game. Sapp rushes for 94 yards while Matt Newton throws for 222 yards.
