Tigers outlast the #25 Razorbacks for a 41-38 win.

LSU withstands a big 4th quarter comeback by Arkansas, which cuts a 41-25 lead to 41-38 with just over 2 minutes to play, but the Tigers are able to control the ball and seal the win. The Hogs are unable to match big days by a trio of LSU stars.

Rohan Davey throws for 359 yards and 2 TDs, with Josh Reed catching 7 passes for 183 yards and 2 TDs. Meanwhile, LaBrandon Toefield rushes for 173 yards and 3 TDs, including a 62-yard TD run.

Arkansas threatens the upset on several occassions but big plays buoy LSU. The Razorbacks lead 19-14 in the 1st half, but Davey hooks up with Reed for a 20-yard TD and the lead. Davey stretches the lead to 27-19 with a 60-yard TD pass to Michael Clayton in the 3rd quarter.

Matt Jones pulls Arkansas within 27-25 with a 61-yard TD pass to Sparky Hamilton, but the 2-point play fails. LSU then responds with a 38-yard TD pass from Davey to Reed and a 17-yard TD run by Toefield.
