Boise State stages a 2nd half rally, coming from down 28-14 to overtake undefeated Fresno State on Ryan Dinwiddie's 4th TD pass. Dinwiddie throws for 297 yards, hitting Jay Swillie for a 54-yard TD pass to break a 28-28 tie midway through the 4th quarter.

The Bulldogs are unable to stage a rally to save their BCS hopes despite 345 yards passing by David Carr. Carr drives Fresno State to the 5 before being sacked on 4th down in the final minute as Boise State's defense preserves the upset.
