Virginia Tech runs out to a 34-0 lead before easing up. Grant Noel throws for 215 yards and 2 TDs, and runs for another. Noel hits Andre Davis for a 37-yard TD pass and then scores on a 1-yard TD run before Kevin McAdam picks up a fumble and returns it 9 yards for a score and 21-0 lead in the 1st quarter.

Noel hits Davis for a 34-yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter that helps the Hokies open a 34-0 lead. Davis catches 6 passes for 112 yards.
