Shaun Hill turns into a dual-purpose threat for Maryland, throwing for 323 yards and 1 TD, and runs for 105 yards and 2 TDs. The Terps sprint to a 21-0 lead over Duke in the 1st quarter, and never look back.

Hill scores on a 2-yard drive on the opening drive, and then Bruce Perry and James Lynch score with TD runs :54 apart for the 21-0 edge. Hill starts the 2nd quarter with a TD pass and Marc Riley adds a TD run before Hill's 2nd TD run, giving the Terps a 42-10 halftime lead.
